San Francisco Photography: Ashlee & Dane Engagement Session

We had such a great time photographing Ashlee and Dane’s engagement session. They like the beach so that’s where we headed – and boy did we get lucky!  We got it all, beautiful sunny day, gorgeous sunset, and adorable couple that were a blast to work with. We can’t wait to photograph their wedding later this year!

Bay Area Wedding Photographer Guest Book

I just love the cover of Danielle & Doug’s guest book! So dreamy, with promises of what’s to come……

San Ramon Wedding Photographer

It was a beautiful day for Eric & Kim’s wedding at the San Ramon Marriott.  After photographing their retro engagement session we knew we would be in for a treat with these two.  The theme was Disneyland, as both LOVE it – complete with “Mickey” ears at the reception. They also had a special surprise guest which was very, very touching.  All the details were in keeping with the theme right down to the princess shoes!  I also loved the fact that the grooms boutonniere was created by the bride,  sweet.

We started with the bride and her bridesmaids at the San Ramon Marriott and joined the groom at St Augustus Church in Pleasanton. Then back to the Marriott for the reception. We wish the best for these two.

I think that says it all!

Thinking of “going green” for your wedding?

It’s easier than you think!! There are so many options’ ranging from eco friendly invite and rings to eco friendly bridal gowns. And don’t think you have to sacrifice style to have an earth friendly wedding.

Several months ago while photographing a wedding, I commented on our brides gown – it was simply stunning. Clean lines and oh so elegant.  She told me that it was a “green gown” made from recycled fabric.

I loved the idea and had to contact the salon where it was purchased. Pilar Burlinghame owner of Lilac Dress Boutique in Alameda is a joy to chat with. It turns out the gown is an Adele Wechsler design. This designer uses eco friendly, organic hemp/silk, vegetable dyed silks, use of remnant fabrics, and fair trade suppliers. When you go to the site you are treated to images of beautiful collections ranging from simple, elegant perfect-for-beach wedding gowns to classic collections.

Below are images of Pam in her beautiful eco friendly bridal gown. Going green never looked better!
